Information Entered by Visitors
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that powers the result. Bell Gardens Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those search entries on its own servers. A message sent to the contact address contains whatever the sender chooses to include and is used to answer the request.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting infrastructure may record an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Those details are reviewed in aggregate for site health and broad page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or, where applicable, advertising measurement.
Why the Information Is Used
Technical data support operation, troubleshooting, traffic counts, and page improvements. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built from the small amount of information available.
Outside Portals and Links
Pages link to county and state record portals, libraries, archives, and third-party search tools. Once a link is followed, the destination’s privacy policy controls the information submitted there. Sponsored search results are supplied by an outside company and follow its own practices.
Who Receives Limited Data
Hosting and support providers may process ordinary server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the technical information described above where those tools are enabled. Disclosure may also occur when valid legal process requires it.
Security and Retention
The connection uses encryption, and logs are retained only for the purposes listed in this policy. There are no visitor accounts, passwords, or user profiles stored by Bell Gardens Residents Directory.
Visitors Younger Than 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. If a minor may have sent personal information, contact the operator so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
Your California Privacy Choices
California’s Consumer Privacy Act, including the California Privacy Rights Act amendments, provides rights described in Civil Code §§ 1798.100 and following, including access, correction, deletion, and limits on sale or sharing where the law applies. Bell Gardens Residents Directory keeps little personal information, so a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant technical logs. Use the Contact page to ask.
Records held by California, Los Angeles County, or Bell Gardens offices are outside the operator’s control. A deletion or correction request for a deed, court file, voter record, permit, or directory volume must go to the custodian that created it. California’s DROP program is a separate state tool for eligible data-broker deletion requests.
